The upright piano for left-handed people
The upright piano is a Blüthner Model N°4. It is important for an artistic interpretation to allow left-handed people to use the leading and skilled hand to play the melody. For left-handed people, the left hand is obviously the leading, the skilled as well as the fastest hand.

The left hand is used for sensitive works as well as for fast reactions. To force left-handed people to use the slow and unskilled right hand slows down their artistic expressions. The musician is not as able as a left-handed to interpret his emotions in a piece of music and to exhaust the full potential of his skills.

It is as difficult for left-handed people to learn playing music on a right-handed instrument as to learn writing with the right hand. left-handed people need especially conceived music instruments for their purposes. To enable their playing, it is important to transform on an easy way standard music-instruments, especially keyboard-instruments and piano-accordions for left-handed purposes. The keyboard and related elements of music-instruments are installed the way that the left hand plays the melody, the emotional part, and the right hand the accompaniment, the rational part. In respect with their nature, left-handed people may now learn in an easy way to play piano.

The most important is that the left hand leads the right hand so that the balance between hands is harmonized. A perfect hearing is an important advantage (W.A.Mozart and L.v. Beethoven were also left-handed people). left-handed people will have a better feeling for playing with 10 fingers.
